Application Letter :

Application letter is a form or letter that shows our interest and desire for a position or job in a company. 

Job application letters usually contain personal identification such as name, address and telephone number including work experience.


❗️Application Letter Social Function :

The main function of the application letter is for an initial assessment of whether the applicant is suitable for the position needed and at the same time written evidence that we are applying for the job. 

The job application also serves as a form of communication between the applicant and the company that contains information about the applicant, qualifications and other information related to the job being applied for.


The linguistic elements of a job application letter are: 

Use standard letter forms

Using good and correct language; Use polite words

Using a clear, concise, concise, informative, and targeted introduction

Clean writing, easy to read, according to spelling rules

Completing the letter section with the letter language norms.


Application Letter Structure :

The following is the structure for making a job application letter: 

• Your Name, E-Mail, and Address

 • Date The Hiring Manager

(Company name applied for, address, and e-mail). 

• Salutation Opening Paragraph 

(Opening paragraph stating what position and where you got the job information). 

• Body Paragraph

(Fill in the paragraph that explains how you can fill the position needed. In the body paragraph, a job applicant can write things in detail, but still relevant to your experience and achievements).

( Closing paragraph containing acknowledgments, offers, and invitations for the authorities to provide further information).
